Someone asked, “If we were to go with the flow of events, will we erase the stains of past misdeeds or instead be committing sins?”
The Master answered:
By following the righteous conditions, one will eliminate karma; by following improper conditions, one will create bad karma. One would require wisdom to analyse if the conditions are deemed righteous or improper. True wisdom in judgment lies in being adaptable. If someone asks you to commit theft and you carry it out, you create bad karma. But if someone asks for your help to save a life and you respond, you are dissolving your past karma. Eliminating karma and creating karma are extremely different. A desire to action must be executed with the correct mindfulness.
