Question: Where does Master Cheng Yen’s perseverance come from?
The Master answered:
Do not seek, do not greed, be desireless and be selfless. No matter how troublesome a matter is, I do not think about it anymore after the situation has passed. Moreover, when our minds are not shackled by fame and fortune, and we do not discern between others and ourselves nor be troubled by gains and losses, we will be able to move towards our goal without any obstacles.
