Someone asked, "Why do we need to burn incense sticks to worship Buddha or deities?"
The Master answered:
There is no need to burn a lot of incense sticks; however, it is more important to use high-quality ones. Sandalwood incense is particularly effective in warding off evil spirits and stabilising energy. This is why it was traditionally burned in all corners of ancient palaces.
