Nowadays, many people are facing job retrenchment, pay cuts, or unemployment due to company bankruptcies caused by a pandemic-induced economic downturn. These have significantly led to emotional stress and anxiety, which triggered suicidal thoughts in many people. Such minds are too fragile and vulnerable. If one maintains a healthy state of mind with perseverance and courage, one can turn the situation around and overcome the hurdles even under adverse circumstances.
Many social issues are associated with the mind. How can we adjust ourselves mentally?
There is only one solution, and that is to do more good deeds. Adjust your time well and keep yourself occupied. As the wise saying goes, "Busy people have no tales." How can you think about gossip when you are busy? Let us open up and broaden our hearts, let go of our egos, and step out of our families to contribute to society. By witnessing the sufferings of others and comparing them to ourselves, we will realise how blessed we are and feel contented. With a contented heart, you will feel at ease, from which you will gain strength to overcome adversity.
