The Love of Young People are the Hope for Sri Lanka's Future
At the Sri Lanka free clinic, young volunteers took on various roles, such as registration, translation, and advocating about Tzu Chi. A group of 42 local youth volunteers, who were invaluable assistants to both the volunteers and doctors, created their own posters to introduce Tzu Chi to the local residents. They were guided by their senior counterparts from Singapore. Many of these young volunteers were Tzu Chi care recipients, including survivors of the tsunami and student beneficiarieswho received bursary from Tzu Chi.
