Thousands gathered at Tzu Chi Buddha Bathing Ceremony to pray for world peace
Every year, on the second Sunday of May, Tzu Chi branches in nearly 50 countries and regions around the world hold the Buddha Bathing Ceremony. This year, Tzu Chi Merit (Singapore) organised the Tzu Chi 58th Anniversary and Buddha Day Celebration at Bukit Gombak Stadium. The event, attended for the fifth time by Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, Mr Teo Chee Hean. With 52 Dharma Masters leading the ceremony, attended by more than 3,000 people, all present expressed their gratitude to the Buddha, parents, and all sentient beings, while praying for world peace.
