Someone asked, "Is educating others the same as guiding others onto the Bodhisattva Path?"
The Master answered:
Educating others is about teaching people the right principles of life while “guiding others (onto the Bodhisattva Path)” is about actively encouraging and inspiring others (onto the Path).
I often talk about the “tug of war” between good and evil. If the power of goodness is greater than that of evil, it will win out. This means that you have successfully “guided” those on the side of evil onto the Path. (There are living beings who have been guided onto the Path, those who are in the process of being guided, and those who have not been guided.)
We must work hard to (guide those who have yet to walk the Bodhisattva Path). Those who have already been guided onto the Path are people who share the same teacher, Path and aspirations as us. They walk together with us on the Bodhisattva Path. Hence, we must cherish our karmic affinities with them and (pave the path for ourselves).
